Hi, I if anyone would like info on Aberdeenshire villages I'd be happy to help. I teach in a number of rural schools in Aberdeenshire and so am galavanting about the shire every day from one school to another. If you have a place name query or would like to know something about the history of a particular place just let me know.

The main places I visit each week are: banff, turriff, huntly, Gardenstown/gamrie, whitehills, fordyce, portsoy, ordiquhill, aberdhirder, king edward, fyvie, kennethmont, clatt. However i go through many more en route!
I also live in Udny green which is a stonesthrow from Pitmedden and Oldmeldrum. I know a lot of the locals through my work - people whose families have been born n bred in the same village for generations so if I cant help - they probably can!
