I would like to find a marriage in 1895.
Helen (Ellen) Georgia Barley  born
January 24,1872,Chatham,Kent
I find Ellen Barley marriage to Ernest Petchey or Henry Paull.
I would like to find out if this is the one I am searching.
Helen's sister's Mary and Maud were sent to Canada as home children 1891. We recently became aware of the circumstances that brought about their departure from England.
Maud  my GrGrandmother came here to USA in 1897, I would like to find her sister's family.

The marriage you mention is in Camberwell Surrey not Biggleswade

In 1901 there is an Ellen Paul 28 born Sheerness Kent married to Henry Paul born Greenwich living in Greenwich

Only way of finidng out for sure would be to order the certificate to see if father is correct

 Jan,
Thank You for putting me on the right track, I know nothing of England just from looking at a map.
 I know very little on Helen Barley,she was possibly baptised Ellen Georgiana Barley but called Helen. I am chasing all possibilities to find what happened to her.
 I have per 1880 LDS census Helen Barley born Chatham Kent,is this the same area as Sheerness?
How would I order a certificate?

Sheerness is about 12 miles from Chatham - so is fairly likely this is the same person as your Helen/Ellen, especially as you already have that possible marriage. It would be helpful to know where she is in 1891 - have you access to censuses? If not I'll have a look for her for you.

I do not know where Helen/Ellen Barley was in 1891 . I do not have access to the census.
Their Mother (Lavinia) was was remarried to a  J ? Stamford per report on Maud, Miss Rye gave stating Mother ill unable to care for girl stepfather a bad man.( Resided Marlyebone?)
I would like it very much if you would look up census .

No luck finding Helen/Ellen in 1891, also looked for the eldest Frank but can't see him either or the youger one Percy Found this family though
