Peppard/Pepper Poss Baltinglass,

Looking for any info on the above.  John Peppard (Pepper) born about 1864, his father was also John. He moved to Hackettstown, but was listed as living in Rahill. Anyone have him in your tree?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.  I can only get back as far as about 1840 to the estimated birth year of John Pepper (Peppard) often misspelt throughout the family history.  I will try to look at the Parish Records for Avoca to see if I can find any reference to my ancestor and, who knows, it might bring up a connection to your ancestor.  I will share any info I get with you.

Hi.  I have just started my family tree and I feel you may have done all the work for me..

My great grandfather was John Pepper from Wicklow (according to 1901 census).  He married Bridget Melia who died giving birth to a child who also died at the time. He called the child Harriet.  He had 2 other daughters Mary and Annie.  Annie is my grandmother. 

If anybody could verify if this is the same John Pepper I would greatly appreciate it.

This John Peppard is also my Greatgrandfather and I have fairly well researched the family back a couple of generations to about 1800 and up to the present. My Grandfather (my mothers father), also called John was born to John Peppard and his second wife Margaret Walker.

John Peppard/Pepper was born 02 Feb 1864 in Killalish, Holdenstown, Baltinglass, Wicklow right on the Carlow border.  His parents were John Peppard and Elizabeth Sharpe. His siblings were Susanna, Margaret, Mary Jane and Julia.  The family moved between Carlow and Wicklow in the Hackettstown area.  Does this additional info strike a chord with anyone.  I am particularly interested in getting back a bit further.  I'd also like to get any info available on the siblings.
