    (believe William had a 1st wife but have no info)

Hi,
Have some similarities that you may find interesting.
I have a Robert Dobie, born 1848 immigrated to US around 1870 or so.
He married Ellen Black, daughter of Daniel and Rosannah (Boyd) Black.
Children: Ellen, Janet, Gilmour, and George.
Robert and Ellen may have married in Scotland. 
(Ellen Black had a brother, Henry, born Aug 20 1854, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.)
