The youngest daughter Mary is the only one living with her parents in the 1841 census

Looks like you are going to have to search for the marriages of the female children to find their married names.  Then search for the boys who have also grown up and married.

Elizabeth
p.s. Love the name by the way hope you don't wear a hairnet too.

I have lots of information on THomas Wighton and Janet Hogg as their daughter, Marjory (May) Wighton, was my 3 times great grandmother.  Are you still intereste in finding out more about them?

I am  interested in information on Thomas Wighton and Janet Hogg. I descend from John Wighton . I would like to get my head around the family being in England and later in Scotland. My GGG Grandmother was Margaret Millar Wighton. All of my research goes back to a Thomas Wighton in Aberdeenshire but his wife is Elizabeth Taylor - obviously not my Thomas Wigton. My Thomas was apparently a Baker? I could be wrong
