PASSENGER LIST 1856 - HELP!!!!
« on: Sunday 22 April 07 18:34 BST (UK) »
HI AGAIN ALL

MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE HELPED ME SO FAR.

I NOW HAVE MARY BOOTH'S FAMILY ON THE 1860 US CENSUS. HER FATHER THOMAS (38), MOTHER ANN (37), ROBERT (19), MARY (16), PHOEBE (15) AND ANN (9).

I ALSO HAVE MARY ON THE 1900 US CENSUS AND IT STATES THAT SHE HAS BEEN IN THE US 44 YEARS SO 1856 OR THEREABOUTS SHOULD BE THE YEAR OF TRAVEL.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME LOCATE HER FAMILY ON A PASSENGER LIST OR ANY KIND OF IMMIGRATION DOCUMENT?  THEY WERE ORIGINALLY FROM DURHAM, ENGLAND SO NOT SURE WHICH PORT THEY WOULD HAVE SAILED FROM.

THANKS
HELEN

Hi Helen

Its Evie. If you follow this link (you will need to put it into google as I cannot seem to get it to work any other way) you will have the information you requested and more. I also posted the same request and Ambly and Genealiza very kindly replied with some very helpful information. They have been fantastic! They noticed that you too had requested but no one had answered.
