Census 1891 OF Reading-St Mary

Further info' required on a follow on from the 1881 to 1891 Census of Reading St Mary.

Susan Plutton aged 45 of Dean Beds a domestic nurse.

She was found on the 1881 living with what seems to be her niece Elizabeth Squirrell also a domestic nurse from Dean Beds

Cannot find this Susan's birth or babt at Dean Beds but surname could be incorrectly spelled and might read as Pentlow
An further help would be appreciated.

Never heard of the surname Plutton before so its possible a mistake as I did do a check on the freebmd site and nothing was found on the name.

The 1891 census might show this to be a mistake if she's not moved on to another area.

Must admit I carn't see a Susan born 1845 ish Beds residing in Berkshire on the 1891 census

If not present on the 1891 census then she must have moved on.
She certainly wasn't married nor burial at her birth place of Dean Beds.

According to the parish baptized records at Dean Beds she was entered as Susanna Pentelow in 1844
which her age is slightly out of sink with the census of 1881  but as you well know you can't just rely on one thing with them.

Incidentaly Susan Plutton doesn't appear anywhere on the Dean register,

Must admit that the only time Susan Plutton is on any census is the 1881 .Have done a uk search for her on the 1891 and 1901 census and nothing, she didn't imagrate by any chance?
