Have found needed to look at different spellings.

Have found family under Roane/Roan not Rhone.
Have some dates of deaths but dont know where buried yet.

My research is for Inveresk/Musselburgh area, not sure whether this is in the area you say for Burials.
Please contact if it is as would be interested to see if i could find some of distant family.
Thanks rainy  :)

Hi - the MI book doesn't include Inveresk which I think is in Midlothian.  It covers Tranent churchyard, Seton Chapel, Prestonpans (incl P West) and Ormiston old churchyard.  Sorry I can't be of help on this occasion  :)

Hi Elizabeth

Sorry - I don't have any info on births and the MI book doesn't cover Haddington.  St Mary's in Haddington has a website with a list of names on it (Google and you'll find it no problem) and by coincidence I have Pringles from Haddington in my tree - perhaps we're related  :)

I'm glad about that

Hi Elizabeth

The Pringles connect to my line via Helen Pringle b 1777 who m James Forrest.  Helen's parents were Thomas Pringle (d 1830 Haddington) and Isabel Knox (d 1820 Haddington).  There's a headstone at St Mary's which mentions Thomas late provost of Haddington, Isobel and children William, Thomas, Janet and George.  If I discover any Elizabeth Pringles in the family I'll PM you.

Hi Jo,
Is the surname Marshall mentioned? I am researching a number of Marshall generations who were shoemakers from Prestonpans.
Thanks,
Steve
