Chrisiepoos,
Are you seeking them together on census, or are you looking for a birth/baptism record?

Pauline, just trying to find out who his parents were, as I can't seem to find them, just wondered if anyone had other info on Kent.

Let us try this from another direction - How do you know he was born at Benenden in 1875? Do you have some document that confirms that?
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.

my cousin is doing the family history on the family but had no parents names for John, not sure how he knew when and where he was born, I live in Australia and haven't been in touch with him, but he has a web site on mine and his mums family  which I have been looking at and have been trying to trace further back than him, I am getting his email address sent to me so I can ask him then, thanks  christine.

"Aha" he said. Experienced family history researchers will tell you that undocumented research is worth very little. I asked that question of you as I had a scout around the resouces available to me and found no trace whatsoever of John Edward White, nor his siblings, at Benenden. I will say that proves little as there are many oither data files I have no access to but no trace in censuses, no easily found birth registrations - all make one suspicious. I spent time on trying to track someone for a guy in South Africa and there was no sign at all. Eventually he came clean and said he had made a mistake and the person he enquired about was not born in the UK at all!
There are pay to view sites like www.1837online.com that have complete birth registration records from 1837 onwards. It is there you may find some traces but - please spend a good time on  our Beginners Board before you spend real money on that sort of research.
Good luck 8)

Hi Christine

Can you track this line of your family back to 1900 or before with certainty - I mean from what YOU know?

Do you have the address of the website
