Yep  ;D what is interesting to me at least...

that in 1897 William Snr was a labourer and then a hairdresser in 1901 ....1901 they seemed to be back on track .. i must re find 1891 census....then track down the Wildes

I might order William Snr's death cert... just be curious to know from what he died.

see ya

~~~~~~~~------------------
query?
don't know if these are 2 different Sarahs ...mother of mary F Wild?
re: Sarah Wild mother of Mary Francis Wild= William Shaw (we hope, we think !)
in 1881 ~ sarah is 45 b Surrey
in 1871~ Sarah is 35 b surrey
in 1861 ~ Sarah is 29 b St lukes
in 1861 we should be able to find Sarah b 1836, Surrey with her children ... Henry b 1857 (Whitechapel) and Charles b 1860 (Hoxton). Amelia the eldest daughter (see 1871 census was 6 and a pupil)
so we have in 1871:
Hackney, Bridport pl                                           8th street, bethnal green
sarah Wild b St lukes , 39                                Sarah Wild b 1836, b
                                                                                  Surrey
Henry Wild  husband 40                                    No Husband around
Hannah   15                                                       Amelia 16
Maria A 6                                                           Henry 14
William 1                                                            Charles, eliza etc
1861;
Sarah 29 ,b St Luke with Henry
Sarah, b Surrey ,husband and  children nowhere to be found !
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1881 - RG11 429 69 85 ,60 Finnis Street
Mary Wild 16   Daughter  b.Hoxton, Middlesex, England Machinist (Sew)
Civil Parish: Bethnal Green
Sarah Wild 45 head marr. b. Surrey
