Is it possible to get a marriage cert for 1909 in Montreal thanks

Short answer, No.   

Quebec did not start civil registration until 1994, prior to that it's parish registers, so if you know the church they married in that will help

oh really thanks I didnt realise that !!!! somebody on here kindly found the record for me so I assume this must be the Parish record then

The 1901 Census usually gives the full birthdate, where the 1911 only gives the month of birth and year.
