they were sent in 1910-1911

thier names were jonas f berryman born in wales & mary h berryman

the agency that sent them was  Church of England Waifs and Strays

then i did another search & found another auntie

hannah maria berrman left liverpool 12sept 1907 arrived in canada 22nd september 1907

she was on the dominiaon ship she was in the party dr barndo's

i am shocked as jonas, mary & hannah are with thier family on the 1901 wales census

i know that jonas married in 1923 in canada to margaret jone graham

i dont know what happened to mary or hannah  or why they were sent

any ideas on where to start would be great or what happened to them

Hi Lady,

If you go to www.automatedgenealogy.com you will find Jonas living in Quebec as a domestic with Rev. Robertson.  It lists his year of immigration as 1910

I'll just add that Jonas married Margaret Graham in Toronto, Ontario in 1923 and his occupation was a tire builder.

Back on the 1911, you will find Hannah Berryman/Berriman married George Hammond in the County of Peel in 1908 (I'll post the marriage details shortly).

So, in the 1911 Hannah Hammond is still in Peel County with George and her sister May Berryman is living with them.

i think hannah lied who her mother was

her parents were james berryman & hannah powell /power

i find this hard to get my head around that the family from the 1901 census were split up yet hannah sister gladys stayed at home as well as lizzie
