The DRO did not send you a photocopy of the marriage entry in the parish book?

hello 2zpool,  what i was sent was william batey of blackburn and ann mclish of biggin. married on the 15th  may 1837. the only extra was the place they abode at the time of marriage which was not on the igi.  wittnesses generally not transcribed it said under the parish records section.  no i didn't i thought it a waste of money. i was hoping someone with the parish trans. would be able to help.
thanks.
linda.

I take it you mean you got a transcription from Durham Records Online & not a copy of the entry from Durham Record Office?  If you did then as you have all the relevant info Durham Record Office will be able to send you a copy for a small charge.

Cheers

Jay

Suggest you contact Durham County Record Office  http://www.rootschat.com/links/04si/  . As you know the exact date of the event there will be no problem for them to find the record. They be able to advise you of the cost and payment methods.
