The LDS is currently having the 1916 Census (Albert, Sask. & Manitoba) transcribed and should be on-line sometime this month.

Here are the details from the death registration:
Died at Burnaby General Hospital, usual address 6220 Sumas Street Burnaby, widower, wife's name Antonina surname unknown, occupation general labourer, born 17 Aug 1885 Southampton, father John Powney born England, mother unknown Mould born England, buried on 10 March 1981 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burnaby, cause of death Coronary Thrombosis.

The informant was his daughter - I'll PM the name as she may still be living.

I checked Antonina's as well:
Died at home 6220 Sumas Street, husband R.A Powney, born 7 Oct 1891 Vienna Austria, father John Mattesian born Poland, mother not known, buried 5 Aug 1980 Forest Lawn, cause of death C.V.A (cerebral vascular accident??), her husband was the informant.

For the other two deaths, Rachel Powney was the widow of William David Powney and Muriel was the ex wife of John Powney.  If they are yours as well, I'll send the details from their registrations.

Yes this is my Robert Powney. I recall now my father saying Saskatoon when talking of his uncle Bob. I didn't know he had any family. His father was John Powney who died falling into a vat of boiling wort at Walcot Brewery in Bath UK in 1886. Wife Evelyn Mould took to the bottle & her 9 children spread among relatives. I don,t recognise Rachel, William David, or Muriel. Love to hear about any children of Robert.
Thanks for all the help given. I,m new to this site but it seems great.
