Henry RONNEY christened at Sheldwich 22 Nov 1812 to parents William and Ann

with

Sarah RONNY christened 25 Nov 1810, parents William and Ann;
Susanna RONNY christened 29 Nov 1807, parents William and Ann;  and,
Richard RONNY christened 26 Jan 1806 at Selling to parents William and Ann

All events were found in the Bishop's Transcripts for both Sheldwich and Selling. 

I've also checked burials and marriages for the surname, variants included, pre-1813 and no other events appear at Sheldwich or Selling.

Dear Susan,

Thank you very much for checking, I had not been able to find Henry's baptism though his sisters baptisms were on the IGI under Ronney.   I had just posted a message 5 minutes previously on the ESRO Visit 6 April to ask for a lookup in my investigation of these children's parents William and Ann Roney.

It is the marriage of William and Ann that would have taken place about 1799 that I am still really stuck for finding; all I know about william's birth place is that it was not in Sussex (according to the 1841).

Thank you again for finding Henry's christening and for checking the Bisthops Transcripts, I can now presumably eliminate Sheldwick and Selling as places for William and Anns marriage.

Dear Susan,

Thank you so much with all these leads to investigate and the p.m.s with all the info.  My only link so far that I had found for William and the world outside of Sussex had been a tenuous reference to a Thomas Rowney of Oxford which I had found on Access To Archives where the Thomas obtained some land in Buxted, not far from Maresfield where this Roney family had settled for a couple of decades.   

It is so helpful to have these areas I can eliminate and these other areas that I can concentrate on.
