John Robson born 1838 Sunderland

Hello All
I am looking fro info on John Robson born 1838 in Sunderland, according to his birth cert his parents were John Robson a Bottlemaker and Jane Calvert, they lived in Johnson St, Sunderland.

I found a Marriage in 1819 of a John Robson & Jane Calvert.

I cant seem find this This family on the 1841/ 51/61 census.

Maybe someone can help.

Jane Robson   25   y
Mary Robson     4   y
John  Robson    3   y

obviously Jane is too young  born abt 1816  sorry!

Are you sure you have the right date for the marriage?  Children born so many years later?
The 1841 census rounded ages above 15 down to the nearest 5 so that Jane could be up to 29 but it still does not fit.

Thanks for your reply, yes it is odd, but i can find one marriage of John Robson and Jane Calvert in Sunderland or anywhere and that was in 1819, dont understand why not on any census?

i wonder whether Jane died and John married again because there is a John & Eleanor family with a John which is well docimented.

I dont know but the John & Eleanore were married in 1826 at lamesley

I have looked at this and there is no John aged 3 to this family which he would be as he was born 1838, there is Robert though born in 1838
