James William Quick, St Peter Port in 1911
« on: Monday 11 January 10 15:19 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can find anything out for me concerning a James William Quick, who in the 1911 census is resident at St Julians Steps, St Julians Avenue, Guernsey, a railway clerk.  James was born 1888 Somerset and from the census info married in 1910 a Lanowlee Mary ? born 1888 in South Adelaide, Australia.   They had at least one son - James Thomas William Quick born 1910/1911 St Peter Port.    I would be most grateful for any info that could either confirm/rule out that he is the James Quick in my tree.   I cannot find a marriage for them in England, so wonder if they married in Guernsey.
Any help most gratefully received ;D

I just wondered if you received a reply to your question. I have some information on the Quick family but I am particularly interested in any information you have on Lanowlee Mary the wife of James William Quick
