Francis George Irwin 1828-92

I'm looking to see if anyone has further information on this person.

I know he was born on 19 June 1828 and passed away 26th July 1892.

He was in Gibraltar 1856/7 and left about 1862/3 and was in the Royal Engineers.

As far as i know he was born in Ireland.

Thanks to you all.
It looks like that from the top two census's 1881 & 1871 this is the same person.
The one from 1851, i'm not to sure about.

It's interesting to see from the 1871 census, there is a son born in Gibraltar - Hubert T F , 13, Son, Unm, Scholar , born Gibraltar (BS).    What does the Unm and BS stand for?
The son's birth tallies up with the time Irwin was in Gibraltar.
I'll write to the authorities in Gibraltar for birth information etc.

How can i follow up with the line of the son Hubert T F Irwin?

I would like to try and dig up something about some suspective books that apparently went missing. Any ideas?

I can add that i have obtained Francis's son Hubert's baptism and birth documents

I can add that Hubert's dates from the chapel in Gibraltar are slighlty different than those registered with the General Register Office in the UK. Doesn't make sense.
