HI All

I am relatively new to tracing my family and was hopeing some of you would be able to give a bit of advice. My family is from Durham, but originally Ireland my grandmothers parents were both from ireland from what i have been told John Price from Queens Co b1868 and married Margaret Keogan b 1865 Monaghan, my big difficulty has been his parents who relatives say are a Henry Price b1825 Queens Co who married someone called Ellen no maiden name b 1831, the family say from New York?, but i spoke to someone and said it is possible she was Irish sent as a child to work in America came back and got married? the census in 1881 says she is a American British Citizan but another census say ireland for her, the children were all born in ireland from 1862 till they came to England, Elen is buried in Esh Winning Duham 1904, can anyone give some tips to help my serch,

thanks everyone

lawrence

Will have a look at that, visiting the Prices in TowLaw this friday will see if i can find some more out, this Ellen seems to be a tricky one, feeling she is irish with all the children born there, will have to see.
