I am after the birth details if possible of Gladys Mary Sugden, born 9 October 1889, ChristChurch I think?? Can anyone help out here Regards Lisa

I cannot see a birth for Gladys in the years between 1860 and 1900.

Welcome to rootschat.

Gladys Mary Sudgen marriage comes up as 1915 to Arthur Lawrance Dermer, but a spelling mistake as "Gwladys".

Did she die in Christchurch?  I will have a look for you.

Hi Gladys parents I think were Albert Sidney Sugden and Annie Harris. I think she was born in Christchurch because she was baptised at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church Christchurch North. Not sure were this family came from in England. Arthur Lawrence Dermer is her correct husband. Gladys died in Feilding New Zealand at about 42 years old. Thanks heaps Lisa

Do you have the birth's of Elsie Memua Maithal 1895 and Samuel Charles Vivian White 1898? (Parents Albert and Annie)
Still Gladys is not showing on the BMD.

Arthur Lawrence Dermer enlisted with the NZ Army 1914, as shown on Archway, but no probate for both Gladys and Arthur.

Also Papers past have a few Dermer http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast?  A nice wedding notice for the eldest son of Arthur Dermer 1905 Feilding Star

Can't see this family travelling to NZ (or Australia) after 1891, but will have another look for them.

Obviously, Annie and Albert Sydney (Sidney) SUGDEN were in NZ by 1895 for the birth of their daughter Elsie.
[Incidentally, her marriage records her as "Elsie Menina Maithal SUDGEN. ]

*  When (what date), did the baptism of Gladys, take place at Christchurch ?
