Michael Carey/Mary Donohue
« on: Monday 04 October 10 14:51 BST (UK) »
My Great, Great parents. Lived in Shoreditch London around 1860s -1880s. List Tipperrary as their family birthplace but family legend says Kilkenny?? Maybe a parish close to the county line?

Mary is listed in each census as 'Susan' but is 'Mary' on her daughter's birth certificate. I have Michael as being born 1833 and Mary 1839. My best guess is they came to England late 1850s, early 1860s.

Any info on wedding or birthplace much appreciated!

Thanks,

Dave
