Hi

Welcome to rootschat  :)

Not answering your questions I am afraid but the family appear to have been in Melksham since at least 1822 - the first child to be christened there was George on 16th June 1822, then David 10th August 1826,  Anna 28th June 1827  and Rachel 1st February 1829.

Hi

Sorry I can't help with RO look ups but It might be worth you looking at the Wiltshire look up offers on this board on rootschat.

I presume this is Joseph in 1841 living Melksham

Joseph Seymour age 40 ag lab
Eliza  25
George  20
Rachel 14
all born in county.

I presume this Eliza is another daughter, I wonder where she was born.  :-\
She appears to have married Henry Cole 3rd August 1852 at Melksham.
Henry was previously married. His father was Thomas Cole, Eliza's Father Joseph Seymour.

Can't find Joseph in 1851, do you know when/where he died?
