Trying to find marriage records for sisters:
 
Mary Elizabeth DEVLIN  born feb 11 1896
Grace margaret DEVLIN born March 17 1903

both living at 570 East Second Street, Boston

marriages thought to be in 1920/1930s

Looks like a possibility for Grace M

Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts in 1930

Frederick E Gottwald 32 Born Massachusetts. Married at 25 years. Fireman
Grace M Gottwald 27 Married at 19 years.
Eleonor T Gottwald 6
George J Gottwald 4
Irene Gottwald 1 year and 5 months.

Massachusetts Death:- Grace M Gottwald. Born 17th March 1903 Massachusetts and Died 26 May 1997 Needham. Massachusetts  - Certificate: 032823

Unfortunately no marriage records for that time-frame available online that I am aware of.

On the 1930 Census page above are John and Alice Devlin, below are William Gottwald and Mary E and below them are Grace and Frederich. What are the chances that the 2 sisters married 2 Gottwald brothers  ???

William Gottwald 35 Born Massachusetts. Married at 25 years. Fireman. City Fire Department.
Mary E Gottwald 34 Married at 24 years.
Alice Gottwald 9
Grace Gottwald 7
Mary Gottwald 6
Rita Gottwald 4 years and 7 months.

William and Mary Gottwald of Boston. Massachusetts were on a New York Passenger List entry 19 July 1947. Travelling from Kindley Field, Hamilton, Bermuda  - Port of Arrival: LaGuardia Airport, New York, New York. Pan Am Airways. Address was 38 Parlridge Street. Roxbury. Massachusetts. Mary born 11/2/96 and William 26/4/95.

Gosh , I cant believe it!  It must be them , the birth date is exact!  Thank you so much. Hopefully with that surname and two sisters marrying 2 brothers there still may be Gottwalds left in the area.

Ellen Gottwald (the mother of William and Frederick was widowed by 1900). Ellen remarried to Terence McQuire 21 Jan 1903. The maiden name of Ellen was Fitzgerald.

Your very welcvome. Family tree entry shows a Grace Gottwald 25 April 1922 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Died 10 February 1990 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Married to Edward C Shea Bprn 1921 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, and Died 27 April 1964 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.
Could be a possibility for the daughter of William and Mary.
Unfortunately does'nt show any further information on the Gottwald line.  ???

Grace E Shea. Born 25 April 1922 Massachusetts and died 10th February 1990 Dedham. Massachusetts
