Help - I am new - so excuse errors! I am looking for information about Dora I Lorring-Wills marrying a Cartwright? I have looked and can see nothing except a marriage cert to Fred Cartwright in Dudley but no Birth or children etc  Or any info re CARTWRIGHT family 1930 the owned Rhodes & Cartwright steel fabricators/works. Any help would be helpful. :)

This might be your lady....Dora Irene Cartwright - born 30 July 1902 (registered Totnes, Devon - Dora Irene Wills) died Dec 1973 Bromsgrove.  Free BMD has a Cartwright/Wills birth in Sep quarter 1930 in Dudley...but I'd best not post details as person could still be living.  Dazey

There's one birth listed to Cartwright/Wills;
Sept/1930/Dudley/6b/1379.

If you are researching their ancestry - have you checked for them on the 1911 census?

You may need to buy a copy of their marriage cert to determine Fred's age when they married.  The cert will also give the names and occupations of their respective fathers
