Do you have anymore information on her? Is Lawrence/Laurence her maiden name or married name? Where she was born? If outside Canada, when did she emigrate? Who were her parents. What part of the country did she lived? Any additional information would be helpful.

ajmum if you get confused as to where your queries are, there is a search above. Just put your username into the appropriate blank and the surname of the individual. You can also put Canada or Nova Scotia in the keywording as well, or uncheck the boxes and choose the Canada boards. Also this site is so popular that Google search engine often picks up a new query almost immediately so you can find it quickly there...
Some advice, don't make too many queries on the same person, as it makes for wasted resourcses, if several people are searching for you on different boards...
Now that we have a query in Canada for the names you've got here...this is the thread to add questions regarding the family in Canada. Don't make a new thread. Also link to the other country's queries as I did  ( simply copy the url and paste into the reply)
Not to worry...you'll catch on.  ;D

Anyway...look at the heading of the board on the top left and you'll see that this is the Canada board.  ;D

all the best, J.J.

adding to this posting as well:
Just found another posting for this family...so you have a new rellie to talk to about what he knows...I searched for the lad born Dewsbury around the same time as Emma dies...Daniel Deveril Foster...easy to spot as has a similar name to Daniel's father (Daniel Deverell Foster)...so there seems to be a little more information regarding some of the Nova Scotia siblings...Some head west later in life! Including Emma's mother who dies in Manitoba.
It appears that the soldier ancestor has moved on to other military postings (South Africa) which is why he can't be found in 1901, but ends up back in England, where Emma dies in childbirth...
