Welcome to Rootschat. The more details you can provide the easier it will be for us to help you. It's also best to tell us exactly what sort of information you are looking for so that we don't waste time searching and then posting information you've already found.

Did Robert and Annie stay in Ireland? If so, have you found then in 1901 and 1911 census?

Do you have a more exact location than 'County Derry'? (townland or at least parish)

What religion were they? have you searched for church records?

Is this the family in 1911?
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Londonderry/Ballymoghan/Ballymoghan_Beg/612762/
The family are listed as Baptist, married 32 years with 11 children (9 living).

www.familysearch.org lists a daughter Margaret Jane born 10 Feb.1881 Ballymoghan (Note: there;s a Ballymoghan Beg and Ballymoghan More both in Magherafelt civil parish).

Same family in 1901-

Hi...

Marriage of Robert Caulfield and Ann Porter took place in Tobermore (PR) in 1879. Also found ten children born to same couple in Co. Derry:

Margaret Jane 1881, Annie Mary 1882, William 1883, Alexander McK 1885, John Porter 1888, Isabella 1890, Matilda 1892, Rebecca Jane 1894, Maria Cornelia 1897 and Robert 1899

This information came from http://derry.rootsireland.ie

Annie
The surnames, which I am interested in are; Maternal side: Ryan, Kevin, Grant, Grady, Gleeson, Walsh, Dwyer, Paternal side: O' Dwyer, Woodlock, Rochford & Britton - all in Tipperary; and Kelly and Hoynes in Laois.

Ryan, Campbell, Luttrell, Grant, Grahame, Bainbridge and Brown in Queensland, Australia

Tighe in Victoria, Australia.

Grant in Philadelphia, Sullivan and Penny in New York; and Britton in Connecticut

Yes I found them in those census.

Ballymoghan

Baptist on 1911 census, later I believe they changed to Presbyterian.
They were farmers and there are family connections in Magherafelt.

The 1831 census for Co. Derry has 1 Caulfield household listed in the parish of Magherafelt. That was headed by William Caulfield, in Ballymoghan More.

Where can I view the 1831 census as I can only find the 1901 and 1911 for Ireland.

All of the Irish censuses pre 1901 have been destroyed, save for some fragments. One of those fragments is a fairly significant portion of the 1831 for Co Derry, including the parish of Magherafelt. You can see the heads of households listed in it on Bill Macafee’s site:

http://www.billmacafee.com/1831census.htm

In the 1831 census they did not take the full names of each occupant, only the heads of household, number and sex of children alive, number of servants and religious denomination of each member of the household. The macafee site just has the heads of household. PRONI in Belfast has microfilm copies of the whole document (MIC/5A/6-9). So you would get some additional information if you consulted that. (It’s not all on-line anywhere yet, so far as I know. Maghera & District Genealogy seem to be putting it on-line but haven’t done the parish of Magherafelt yet).
