Cameron family
« on: Friday 24 August 12 12:02 BST (UK) »
I am researching James and Annie (nee Jack) Cameron who in 1901 lived in Terregles, Kirkcudbrightshire. They had 9 children, the eldest John born Auchinleck (1878), Robert (1880), Maggie (1882) and Mary (1884) all born Muirkirk, and Annie (1886), Agnes (1890), James (1892), Thomas (1894), and Archibald (1898) all born Stair. I am particularly interested in the youngest (Archie Borland Cameron) who died in WW1 in 1918 and whose death was reported in Dumfries newspapers. I would very much like to hear from anyone with connections to this family.

Thanks for getting back to me.  I do indeed have his military record from Kew, but what I'd dearly love is a photo of him.   I'm hoping someone with family connections might have photos of one or other of the sons in their military uniform.   Many thanks.
