William Isaac Locker

Hi,

I am trying to find information on William Issac Locker born 1861 Manchester. I have found his marriage to Mary Simpson 1886, and then the family on 1891, 1901 & 1911 censuses. I know that William's father was also William but cannot find them on the 1871 & 1881 census. Is anyone able to look up marriage details for William & Mary St Mary's Kirkdale 16th August 1886? Or find any other information?

I too am looking for the evasive William Isaac Locker pre 1886.

I have his 1886 marriage certicate to Mary Simpson, at St Marys, Kirkdale, in Liverpool. William was a bachelor, age 24, a Cow - Keeper ( thats what it says!) and his father was William Locker deceased. His address was 11 Rachel Street.  In 1891 William states he was born in Gorton, Manchester, then in 1901 and 1911 states, Manchester.  I have checked out residents at 11 Rachel St, in 1891, the head is a Milk Dealer, possibly  William lodged with his employer at time of marriage?

Witness's Samuel Walker and Ann Seddon. Neither appear to be relatives.

Unable to find him in any birth registrations or baptism records, am running out of places to look.

Are baptism records for St Marys available anywhere in Lpool? At least 4 of his children baptised there and perhaps a Godparent may be recorded?

William Isaac Locker died in Liverpool in 1937.
