I would like to know how I can get help in tracing what happened to,   John Groom who married lily Bailey in August 9Th  1923 at St Leonard's church Woore Shropshire, He then emigrated to Canada arriving in Quebec 17th August sailing on ship called montcalm. His wife was to follow after the birth of baby in January 1924. Apparently he died before they could join him. I would like to find what happened after he arrived there and when and how he died.
Any help I would love to hear, Thanks

"Sorry the only date of his birth is 1893 as I know he was 30 when he got married."

This then should be his birth registration:
John Groom
June qtr 1893 Ref: Market Drayton 6a 755

Market Drayton registration district also includes Woore parish.

I know about the birth of the daughter edith mary as she was my mother-in-law, and she did'nt know what had happened to her father John Groom, nobody seemed to tell her anything. So we want to find out what happened when he arrived in Canada.
