STOODLEY- North Petherton, 1841, 1851

I would be most grateful to have the results of a look-up for any Stoodley families in North Petherton in the 1841 and 1851 censuses. One family would be that of Maria Stoodley, born about 1808. With thanks, Jim Stoodley

Sorry I can't find any Stoodleys in 1851 North Petherton.  I've checked the index and there isn't a Maria Stoodley in Somerset but it only covers people who are either heads of household or on their own. 

Is this a possibility?

I have this Benjamin Stoodley in my tree.

He seems to be the Benjamen (sic.) Studley who was christened on 21 April 1782 at St. Mary and St. Andrew, Pitminster, Somerset.  His niece Hannah Studley (daughter of his brother Edward Studley, of Pitminster) married a John Stoodly, of Wayford, Somerset (and thus into my branch of the Stoodley family).  There is no documented link between them but chances are they are distantly related.

Fitzhead I believe should be Fifehead (as in Fifehead Magdalen in Dorset).

Which Studley/Stoodley family are you interested in, Jim?
