Roy BALDWIN
« on: Friday 19 April 13 13:27 BST (UK) »
I have come to  a stop in research.  Can anyone help with the birth, marriage and death dates of Roy Baldwin who I believe married Ivy May Hewitt?  Roy would probably be born around 1900. A son was Neville R.J. Baldwin. (b. 1924 and d.1986 in Gunnedah)
His father may have been "Joseph".  It is possible that the family had connections at some point in time with Wales.     Thank you

Perhaps you could tell us your source of the information about Neville's parents.  I can find no marriage or electoral roll listing for the people you name as his parents.  There is a BALDWIN couple at Werriwa on the 1930 electoral roll however they married in 1903 and had two children to 1912, limit of online births.

Neville Ronald James BALDWIN's WW2 service summary - place of birth should be Werriwa - no such place as Wirriwa in NSW.
http://www.ww2roll.gov.au/Veteran.aspx?serviceId=A&veteranId=278647

and he married the same year he enlisted.

17379/1943
BALDWIN Neville Ronald James
SMITH    Sylvia Evelyn
District Mayfield

A transcription of the marriage certificate will give you his parents' names.  Transcriptions can be purchased online [$20] and emailed to you.

Never leave a stone unturned ;)

I note that Eric Roy stated he was married in 1945 and named his wife and she was to receive £2 from his pay.

We need to know the source of the information.

I wonder if this could be the mother's death index. Maybe she was Irene May and not Ivy May
