Mayo History
« on: Wednesday 03 August 05 20:08 BST (UK) »
I read somewhere recently that some of Cromwell's men may have inhabited Mayo when they came over to Ireland. I was just wondering if anyone could explain a bit more about this - I'm not the greatest historian.

Also if possible, a bit of information on the Spanish that came to Mayo would be helpful as well.

Thanks

Seamus
