Hi,

Can anyone help with the tracing of William Murphy and his sister Elizabeth Murphy.
William was born in Victoria, Australia(probably in Melbourne) sometime in 1859 and his sister was born there also in 1866.
Parents names are Michael & Margaret Murphy (nee Gribbins).
There were 12 children altogether to Michael & Margaret who emigrated to Australia from Ireland?? in 1850 on the "Maitland" with two children who we have some details about along with some of the other children born in Australia but we have hit the proverbial brick wall in relation to William & Elizabeth so any ifo at all would be greatly appreciated.

Anna Maria Murphy born 1861, Melbourne Reg#18751 - (Gribbin)
Patrick Murphy born 1863, Melbourne Reg#9317 - (Gribbin)
Elizabeth Murphy born 1866, Melbourne Reg#9493 - (Gribbin)

Thanks for all the info re the Murphy children. we did have some of the dates but this completes the picture as far as births go.

I am still trying to find out about William & Elizabeth in later life so hopefully someone will be able to assist,
