That is the spelling that I have from his daughters marriage cert in 1920. Unfortunately she wasn't born until 1903. I only have her short birth cert.

Just had a thought.
Could he be mis transcribed as Villman or Vallman.
Or an A added to his first name to make him Louisa !!!!  ???

So if he was in Tottenham 1920, where was the 1903 birth (on the basis he's going to be closer to that in 1901)...

Louis Velleman's daughter Caroline was b. 1903 Bethnal Green Reg. District.
There don't appear to be that many Velleman's around. Perhaps they all link up.
The Louis Velleman m. 1899 Mile End Old Town Reg Disttrict could be the one that I am looking for . Not certain though.
Hope this is of help.
Very grateful of any help in finding him.

Hi

Just doing some housekeeping on the London and Middlesex boards and going through the oldest posts. Now there are further resources available it gives a chance for old posts to be looked at again to see if the information can be found or the chance for posters to say whether this information has been answered and this topic can be completed. If it can be completed please put completed into the title of this topic and it can be moved to London and Middlesex completed (it is never lost off Rootschat) giving more space for other topics to be looked at again by all of us to see if we can help. If you are still looking for the information perhaps you can now add further details to help others search again for you.

Regards
