hi i think ive found an ancester of mine problem is hes just called jo bond born abt 1833 summercotes alfreton derbyshire. this is the 1861 cencus showing them living at seymour court staveley. chesterfield. jo bond head age 28. coal miner. born summercotes. alfreton./ now could he be joseph/ or james. wife charl bond aged 23 born abt 1838 . clay cross derbyshire./ now to me charl could mean charlotte. cant be sure.. next william sadler brother . aged 16. born dec 1845 born clay cross. chesterfield . derbyshire. william sadler must be the brother of charlotte. if her name his charlotte. in 1851 cencus living in tupton. chesterfield. i found edward higginbotham head. age 59 born abt 1796. tupton derby. wife hannah higginbotham age 62. born stretton derby. daughter martha higginbotham age 22. born woodthorpe. john higginbotham grandson age 3. born woodthorpe. abt 1848. and charlotte sadler age 11 born clay cross chesterfield. could this be the charl sadler that was living with jo bond in staveley in 1861. i found a charlotte sadler on free bmd born 1839 danesmoor chesterfield.. and also william sadler her brother born dec 1845. clay cross chesterfield these hamlets fall under chesterfield district. clay cross. stretton. tupton. and woodthorpe. they must have been local famillys becuase. edward higginbotham and his wife were frrom tupton and stretton, can any body help. with info. please.
