McGoldrick/Lawn
« on: Thursday 14 October 10 20:10 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help? Looking for information on family/descendants of Catherine McGoldrick (b. 1888 in Killeter, Co. Tyrone to Margaret Boyd & Terence McGoldrick). Catherine married a widower Patrick Lawn in Pettigo, Donegal in 1911. Patrick died in Irivinestown, Fermanagh in 1970. Not sure when Catherine died or where although think she died leaving a young family which were reared by her sister Alice.
Is there anyone with information about her? She is a sister of my partner's g-g-grandfather (Michael McGoldrick) :)

Information from earlier post-
I am looking to contact a family by name of Lawne whose family originally came from Donegal. Catherine McGoldrick (daughter of Terence McGoldrick & Margaret Boyd) married a widower Patrick Lawne from Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal in 1911. They had two sons Edward & Thomas Lawne. Catherine's brother, Michael b. 1870 is a g-g-grandfather of my partner, Stephen. Catherine was born in Killeter, Co. Tyrone and lived for a time with her mother, sister Alice and brother Michael in Pettigo, Donegal.

Hi 998,

Michael McGoldrick is a brother of Catherine McGoldrick and they were offspring of Terence McGoldrick and Margaret Boyd. Do you have any information about Margaret? We are having difficulty tracing when she was born and where she is buried. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi 998,

I'm not sure if you got my last post. Do you have any other information on Catherine McGoldrick. We have no information on her mother Margaret Boyd only that she came from Fermanagh. We'd love to find out more about your side of the family.

Hi
Got your message, my grandmother is buried in  StMary's Church graveyard in Pettigo, although i'm not quite sure of the location of the grave. All of her children are now deceased and i have only one aunt by marriage that i can maybe get some information from. I may get to visit her soon.
I live in Donegal Town but am originally from Fermanagh
