Thank you to all who have helped.Mary remarried a Patrick Cunnane in 1875 in Hull so John Judge presumably died before then (between 1868 and 1875)We only have heresay to go on......there are other possible scenarios,I suppose.

The 1891 census reference is definitely them.John junior was a bricklayer. The 1881 census reference also got the spelling wrong. It has the family name as Cuman.

Perhaps John Judge will remain a conundrum.

Searching for any info on John Judge, born circa 1836 in Mayo,Ireland. He lived in Hull, was married to Mary Burke and left for America between 1868 and 1872.He and Mary had a child,John Judge ,born in 1872 in Hoboken,New Jersey.

Family tradition has it that John senior died and Mary returned to Hull and remarried.I can't find any reference to his death.Any help would be gratefully received.

Death notices haven't been searched yet.

If Percy and Louisa had one stillborn child, chances are that they had more children. Is it possible to search NZ BMD for free as it is in the UK?

Thankyou so much for all your help!I'd be very interested to know what happened to her ashes-it might throw some light on whether or not she had children.

Kind regards to all who helped.

The father of Patrick and James was also a Patrick.James was born in Kilkelley.I think their mother may have been Ellen Cunniff, but I need verification.

Many thanks!

Searching for the parents of Patrick Fleming, born 1857 in Aghamore. He married in Sculcoates in 1883 and had a brother James, born 1861 who also married in Sculcoates.I would value any information on this family.
