Hi All

I am looking for more info on the parents of Annie Gray who married William Bradwell in County Durham 1893. She is proving quite elusive. She was born in Crook Durham it seems.

I can’t see anything on War dead site x- CWGC.

Do you know where HE was born, his parents, etc.
If so, are there any clues there?
He was born in Armadale Scotland 21/5/1904

I found that but then nothing.
Did they stay in England?
He was a Coporal in the Royal Scots and they ended up in Hong Kong but not sure when

Is William Smith your connection?
Do you know if he survived?
If you read through this - 2nd Battalion to Hong Kong 1938. It’s very long but
it mentions the wives/families being moved to Australia.
https://www.theroyalscots.co.uk/2nd-world-war-ww2/

This site https://wartimememoriesproject.com/ww2/allied/battalion.php?pid=1290 states that ‘ every officer and man of the Battalion were either killed, wounded or captured.’

Hi soldier number was 3049104 but I cant locate this, maybe its too recent to be allowed for searching
