Do you need an Experienced Family Tree Researcher?

Your Tree Searcher is a small, friendly and reliable genealogy and family history service which can visit local Record Offices and Libraries to search for your ancestors. I can access many documents not available on line at Lichfield Record Office and Stafford Record Office.

If you have ancestors from Staffordshire, Derbyshire, North Warwickshire or North Shropshire I am able to search for wills/probate documents and obtain copies.

Lichfield Record Office also have Marriage Licence Records  (Allegations and Bonds). Useful documents with information about family members and much more.

I would suggest that you contact BMSGH and ask for a look up in their marriage index service. A very small fee is requested by the Society but it is worth every penny. Even worth it if they do not have it as it is one more thing to eliminate.

I can carry out research at Lichfield Record Office and Stafford Record Office.

I can search for something in particular or you can request a fixed price family tree research package. Research can be undertaken to find your Staffordshire ancestry or ancestors from anywhere else in England and Wales.

I hope you enjoy my website, why not look at the services I offer or get in touch for a no obligation quote.

The name Vaughton also appears in parish records forTamworth in the early 1700's. The ancestor you seek may not be from Tamworth, just another area for you to think about. The Vaughton family have links to Thomas Guy - MP for Tamworth.

I agree with iluleah every time re on line trees

There are so many that are incorrect, just copied from each other. My own family seem to be on line, totally incorrect. When I have tried to contact the person all they want (free) is all the correct information. I think not.

A search of the British Newspaper Archives has some hits for Robert Bill for the period you are interested in.

Cannot say if they relate to the person you seek. Worth a look though

Good luck
