Dear Pauline J, I think it was the 1871 census that is all I had but I cannot trace him anywhere.

Can anyone help,I have been searching for a Matthew Willian Geoghegan dob1870 as far as I know he ended up in a workhouse with his mother a Elizabeth Geoghegan in Kensington,but I cannot find out what happened to him I have searched the censors but without any luck ,I know his mother Elizabeth Geoghegan gave birth to a daughter in 1877 but still no trace of a son ,can any help me and put me on the right road,I have been in touch with other family trees but I still cannot get an answer,any help at all.

I need directing can anyone put me on the right road I have received good advice and directions on here before and I am asking once again as I keep coming up against a brick wall,I am trying to find out any information on my ancestor Johan or john carter who was a curate for st,Andrews church in medstead in 1663 onwards the church don't have records going back that far ,I am trying to find out where he was born I think it was in hampshire but not sure his wife's name was Joanne and they had a large family all in medstead if anyone can advise me as to what road to go down I would be very much appreciated,I stopped tracking my ancestors for a while and have just started doing it again,any help is welcome.thank you Cha Cha.

Can you help,I am looking for the parents of a James graham,James graham got married to a Norah carter in the second quarter in 1921 in Portsmouth James graham was born in 1872 and Norah carter was born in 1901,I have all the details on Norah but I have nothing at all on her husband James graham.

Hello colm,
Thank you for your message concerning Cornelius short. I am doing a family tree for one of my son in laws which includes the short family he is not on line himself I have not been on roots for a while as l am doing several trees for my family and had to give it a rest as things can get muddled,if you have any information on Cornelius and his family would be very gratefully if you could pass it on to me as it is very hard to find  the Irish records as quite a lot were destroyed of which l was told,on the short family l have  only got back to Cornelius on that part of the family lam sorry to say l hope you can help me out .
