Thanks Dizzyfish

What a great detective.   I think you are right and it would be great if you could forward me the marriages and burials for Pinxton as it would be very difficult for me to attend the record office as I live on the south coast.  I have been researching the Wilsons for some time but Inger is a new line for me since I got John Wilson`s birth certificate.

Thanks again, Angela

Hello again

I do not have a marriage certificate but I have George and Ann on all the censuses and their last three children were registered after 1837 and I have the birth certificate for their son John (1843) which gives Ann`s maiden name as Inger and she cant have been a widow when she married George as she would have been too young to have had a previous marriage before the birth of her first child.   As there only appears to have been one Inger family in Heanor with the rest in Nottingham I have therefore come to the conclusion that they must have been siblings although that may be wrong and they may have been cousins

Does anybody have any information about the parents of Ann Inger born c 1797-1800 in Heanor (Derbyshire) according to various census although her wider family appear to have originated from Nottinghamshire.   Ann married George Wilson of Greasley.
I would love to find out more about this family.

Has anybody got any information on this William Roberts
In the Visitation of Kent and in Roberts family archive he was known as William of Battle which is in Sussex.   I believe that he may be the same William Roberts that was buried in Warbleton, Sussex in 1565 but have been unable to prove this.   I am particularly interested in information on his son John born c 1555 who may be the John Roberts baptised at Ripe, Sussex.   Any further information or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Yes.   This is indeed the post I was referring to but when trying to contact the e mail address given, the e mail is returned to me unsent by the postmaster and I therefore have no means of contacting the researcher concerned.   Any help therefore would be appreciated.

I am researching Thomas Frape bap 1683 Beverstone, son of Thomas and Joane.

I found an old post from 2000 from a researcher who was also reseacching the name Gastrell and believed Thomas had married Joanne Gastrell in 1682 but when I tried to send an e mail it was returned to me unsent.   If you are still researching out there please get in touch so we can compare notes
