I am trying to find out the style of wrestling that might have been practiced in Bedfordshire at fairs, tournaments etc. The only style I have found at the moment is the Norfolk style but there is no evidence of that particular style being used in Bedfordshire. Most counties had fairs were wrestling took place, for example Cornish Jacket Wrestling in the West Country and Cumberland Backhold wrestling in the north.

I am a keen amateur historian of all wrestling styles and as I live in Bedfordshire I would like to find out what style was used in this area.

 Is there anyone out there who might be able to tell me where to look/start.
