Thanks JM,

That's wonderful. 1892 and he's alive and at "St Leonards" and with a street address.
The T James Temple is the father-in-law. (He's where I started eons ago, he's so real to me)

Thank you Debbie,
That John and Sarah have foxed me all this time, I think they were misnomers because when Mary Sophia died there weren't too many people left that would remember her history...not that I'd blame them two world wars and a depression would change your priorities.

Thank you for all your help.

Thanks Jo

Something to get me going again. I'll have to play with that Parramatta Reuben and see where I end up.

I think there must have been more than my Reuben, unless all his progeny died before Mary Sophia married.

Thanks again.

Sigh, it doesn't look like that Reuben has a brother call Thomas.

Hi Everyone
I've been stuck on Mary for a while (decades). I've been trying to find her parents so that I can follow her line. Recently, I finally found this 1884 marriage notice (thank you NLA for Trove!!  :-*):
TEMPLE-FULLER - November 4, at St.Leonards Villa, Bondi, the residence of Mr. Thomas Fuller (the bride's uncle), by the Rev. E.F.Thomas, Percy Augustus Temple to Mary Sophia Fuller, only daughter of Mr. Reuben Fuller of Sydney.

It's only tiny...but its packed with information! I was so excited. But now I am completely stuck with Reuben and Thomas. ???

I've tried NSW BMD and more Trove. I believe Mary inferred that her father was of independent means (but I've heard that before).

Any suggestion of where I should try next?

Thank you in advance

cheers

Oh, and I have lots on Percy and his line.

I read that incorrectly at first at him being "late" (hence dead), but it was his last posting.

That wonderful.
