Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Re: Old Photo Dating and MAtching

Last one (maybe)
Again I would appreciate help to date this one, it may be the two boys in the previous photo( the two on their own with ball and stick.) A date may confirm this and settle a family discussion- I am thinking around 1912? It is taken in a garden and seems very informal.
Thanks everyone for helping.

Thanks for looking at the photo, sorry it caused a controversy while I slept blissfully unaware in the land of Oz.
There is a chance the boys are the sons of the eldest boy in the 1880s photo.  A cousin of mine had a heap of family photos with no names. Unfortunately I have no better copy, as my dad took a sneaky photo of the original photo when visiting said cousin.
I personally think it is either the boys in original photo  (born 1884 and 85)or it could be the two sons of the oldest boy Samuel who were born 1906 and 08.
Thank you all for helping out here.

Here is another photo that I could use some help with. Firstly I need a date and then if anyone wants to venture an opinion of they are the same boys in that are in the original posting???
Again only a copy so nothing on the back to help. Likely taken in Belfast.

Thanks everyone. We are now pretty certain it is our great great grandparents, which is of great importance to our family.

Can anyone please help me to date the photo of the family. Firstly I think it is an earlier photo of the old man pictured. I need some help to match these photos, does anyone think they are the same man? The jaw/chin seems quite similar.
If I am right and these are the same man (my great great grandfather)then the family photo should be around 1888-91.
The photo was taken in Belfast. The bottom says Abernathy Studios (faded). this is only a copy so I don't know if there was anything on the back.
Any help much appreciated.

Ireland / Re: Any Kearney relations out there

Dear Sandy,
Thanks for the reply. I have found another daughter for this couple in Family Search:
Eliza Mulholland
born 9 May 1864 Aghalee, Co. Antrim (page 723 in civil register)
parents- James Mulholland & Jane Kearney

My great grandmother was Eliza Mulholland . All I know is that this date is about correct and my GG grandfather was JAmes. My Eliza married Samuel Cunningham in Ballymena. If these 2 Elizas are the same person, then she would have had to returned to Ireland, I saw somewhere that your Mulhollands went to Scotland. This is the only Eliza Mulholland I have found in the right time, place, religion and with a father JAmes. I would love to hear what you think.

I am hoping you are still looking... I realise your last message was a few years ago.
I am wondering if you have any more information on the children of James Mulholland and Jane Kearney? I have 3 chn for them: Eliza b 1864; Nancy 1869; Catherine 1866.
I think this Eliza may be my great grandmother but need some evidence. If this is the right Eliza Mulholland, she returned to Ireland and married Samuel Cunningham. Do you have anymore information about the family?
Look forward to hearing form you.
