Carole W He was born in Glasgow as far as I am aware the 1891 census you have is the correct one. She remarried shortly after that. Just can't find any info on 1st wife no name.

He died in 1889 one week after his son Daniel was born he died at sea.

Daniel & Alice married in Glasgow on the 21st of April1885. Daniel was a widower aged 33. How can I find out who his first wife was?

kilravock castle is situated between the village of croy and clephanton. I do beleive baroness rose is in a nursing home in nairn. I worked in the castle for 7 years under various managers and it was a lovely place to work, hope this helps you.
