Martin Bolton Langston's birth in 1795 was recorded as Longston in the IGI. Bastardy records for Chipping Campden in 1796show that mother Sarah was single and that the father was Martin Bolton. There is more than one Sarah Langston born in Gloucestershire in the 1770's so it seems difficult to trace her ancestry. Sarah married George Taylor in 1812 and as reported in another post looked after the Langston children after Martin and his wife Jane died in the 1830's.
Does anyone have information about Martin Bolton Langston as an apprentice tailor in London. I suspect the Langstons were poor and the parish paid for Martin's apprenticeship but that is just a guess
