Hi there - I'm still looking for someone who has access to the 1851 census  - I've got the index but would like to get more information  from the original  and see who else is in the house with them!

Also if anyone has the 1841 census and can find them that wouldbe great!

Hi there,

I have a list of hutchence (and variants!) that I'm trying to track down on the 1851 census and get more info on.

I have all the piece and Folio numbers I just need someone who can extract the remainder of the information!

Is there anyone out there who can help?

Thanks
C

That was quick!!

I'm interested in any Hutchence or Hutchins (plus all the other variants!) from the 1800s. I believe they were mostly blacksmiths but Henry Hutchence (b 1819) became an Organ builder and instrument maker.

His parents were Thomas (b 1798)and Charlotte (Long), grandparents were John (he was a grocer) and Sarah (gale??)

Thanks

Hi there,

I'm researching my dad's family which is turning out to be a bit messy as Helmsley etc are full of people called Bowes.

Is anyone able to do parish records lookups?

Thanks

Hi there,

My husband's family used to run the White Horse in Whitwell for about 3 generations. Does any one have any connections to this family or the pub? There are family rumours that smuggling was afoot.... :o

Hi there,

I'm trying to find connections with the Hutchence families in Whitchurch. Does anyone have any connections or information they might like to share?

There are a number of Hutchence families and I think they are all related but as yet have found no proof.

Thanks
