hi there i am looking for a birth record for my ancestors but not sure if i can find it as i live in the uk

i know Peter Quinn was born in Dublin 1847, But i am unable to locate his parents names and siblings and so on i have found his marriage to mary dogget but on their marriage certificate they lied about there age, which i only discovered today. they came from ireland to st helens liverpool to get married then started a family life in manchester and died in manchester

but i would love to trace peter quinn birth certifcate  can someone help me and also mary dogget birth certifcate i know her parents are called james dogget and elizabeth dogget and she was born 1849 louth ireland but on one census it does say dublin


please help much appreciated!!

hi there i have been researching a John Quinn who is my ancestor

he was born 1883 Manchester parents Mary Dogget / Quinn , Peter Quinn

i have the 1891 census where he lives with his parents and brothers also his grandmother Elizabeth Dogget

also the 1901 census and 1911 census he lives with his brother James at 268 Rochdale road Manchester and he is single but now aged 28

i been trying to see if he got married had children, went to war and when he died and i just don't know where to look is it possible i can look at 1912 electroll roll?


i would appreciate any help given thank you :)

hey there i found this picture amongst my ancestors items and i believe it was in their possession for a reason that a family member is buried in ireland and this is their headstone

i can't make out what the headstone says or the name or date i would be grateful if anyone can make it out zoom in and tell me what it says  i know its a quinn family member but thats all :(

Try www.artus-familyhistory.com/source/Early%20Maps.html  they have lots of old maps of Manchester, you may have to look at an earlier or later map than 1903 and if you can't find what you are looking for you can always e-mail them.
