Pembrokeshire / Pembroke Area to California sierra gold rush
« on: Sunday 01 March 20 13:58 GMT (UK)  »
Need help/suggestions please

i think a person i'm searching for left Bosherston,Pembroke for the gold rush in the sierras somewhere between the 1861 & 1871 censuses.
what i'm hoping someone will know is where they likely to have sailed from around that time. as i'm hoping he'll pop up on a passenger list somewhere.
thanks

Hi
M Ann Hole is Henry's daughter Margaret she was born in 1914 and married Frederick in 1936
Edward would be her 1st son
Think M Ann Thomas born 9th June 1891 must be henry's wife also called margaret ann
would you have full household list/details for them please

Thanks for the reply, i indeed meant Maestag :)
We know there is a stone just not where exactly in the cemetary or the exact info on it the stone.
Margaret Ann was indeed also a Thomas so thank you for that info on Thomas at a glance the dates seem to fit in around the other children ok so might be him. No one ever spoke of him apparantly so we only found out about him in a chance conversation with a cousin ( think she found out from the stone, but she can't remember where it is and is to ill to go and look for us) and only thing they know is the name and that he's buried with his parents.

I'm wondering if anyone can help with a grave search in Maestag cemetary i.e
help locate the grave, get burial/inscription info and if poss. a photo of the stone.
looking for the stone of:
Henry Thomas b.1889 died 6/3/1972 of picton place, nanty. buried in maestag
should be buried in same grave as wife: Margaret Ann Thomas , think she died in 1961 or 1962
also a son in same grave : a Tom or Thomas Thomas, sorry no other details on this chap other than he died young somewhere between 1915 - 1932, (one of reasons we wanted grave details as only just found out this chap existed)
any help much appreciated
