The Lighter Side / Re: Hobby or Passtime?

However, I generally consider it an obsession rather than a hobby  :)

And bearsome and alienlady . . .

I was thinking the same thing - and I'm sure my hubby would agree! He definitely thinks I'm obsessed!!  ;) His obsession is cars so surely I'm allowed something?!

The Lighter Side / Re: What are your top 3 favourite ancestors' names?

Off the top of my head -
Joyce Ethelwynne Jennings-Temple (usually just Temple though)
William Attwooll Bennett (whosr son also the same name married Elizabeth Bennett Graves - becoming Elizabeth Bennett Bennett!)
John Warin Wilders Rose
Those are the first to spring to mind!

I haven't seen last night's episode yet - but next week episode 10 IS in the "telly pages" so should be on!

Methinks you might be spending a lot of time on that site! It's great, even if it just points you in the right direction.

England / Re: Struggling to find birth & death for Margaret Barrett

Think that one looks more likely Claire!  :)

I did have a quick look at births on both familysearch and lancashire opc for Margaret, but nothing stands out yet.

Hi Jme79!

Have you seen this death in March quarter 1841 on FreeBMD? - Isaac RAWLINSEN, W Bromich (ref 18 446). I don't know if they had children, is this too early? Or the right place?

I also noted this death:
Margaret Newbold
June quarter 1889, age 65
Aston (ref 6d 191).
I know the age is a bit out, but could be a possibility?

I was also wondering if you know Margaret's father's name and occupation from those marriages that you have? Does she mention Liverpool as her place of birth on all the census records?

Hope that helps?
Toffee  :)
